Summer & Winter Schools

Five themed schools provide shared training in documentary methods, comparative history, and digital skills, and are also open to interested PhD researchers beyond the consortium.

Summer & Winter Schools (5 events)

Where useful, lectures and materials can be shared through institutional learning environments or project webpages.

Jena Winter School (M10)

Documentary typology and methodological foundations, with input from archival experts.

Leuven Summer School (M16)

Archival situation for last wills, citizen-science practices, digital research skills, and work with involvement lists.

Prague Winter School (M22)

Comparative historical approaches, including techniques for analysing drafting processes of ordinances.

Warsaw Summer School (M28)

Guided visit to MW with a focus on archival and cartographic collections.

Krakow Winter School (M34)

Thematic lectures on the history, theory, and philosophy of Digital Humanities (JU and Polish Academy of Sciences experts).
